VALLEY OF THE TALL GRASS
A TV/VCR combo set is thrown out in an Oregon town, but it survives and circulates through the lives of various Indigenous characters of color. In this multi-character portrait, young sisters, an artist, a junkyard scrapper, and his skater daughter all find connection through this seemingly obsolete object.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
In search of the young lead role, TREESHA, sister of KOKO. She’s 8-11 years old. A thin, Native American girl with doe-like eyes. She's observant and cautious—traits that have served her to navigate her turbulent life so far.
No Acting Experience Necessary.
